The Illinois Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (ICCAP) was established in the 1950s as a medical society for child psychiatrists but has expanded over the years to include advocacy for the mental health of youth, to continue growth in child and adolescent psychiatry, and support our clinicians in the everyday struggles of providing the best care to our patients and families. In 2017, we have included our community outreach that will involve working with schools.
